Honora Ankong (our gods are hungry for elegies) is a poet & writer from Cameroon. She is currently completing an MFA in poetry at Virginia Tech. Her work has been nominated for a Pushcart Prize and the best of the net anthology and have found publication at Cream City Review, Foglifter, Notre Dame Review, Glass, The Maine Review, Lolwe, and elsewhere.
