Martha Webster
Samsara
21 degrees
of ice and snow
needles behind
vintage Baccarat
Shalimar bottles
on my beveled glass
window shelf.
Sniff and sample Lanvin
leaded crystal — sparkling
darkly on a mirrored
vanity tray.
Trilene gas — what
my father ethered
patients with.
I snifter-cradle
my cognac,
grounding.
Deepening by the hour,
the prozac snow.
