Welcome to Glass: A Journal of Poetry.
Founded in Toledo, Ohio, the Glass City, by Holly Burnside and Anthony Frame, Glass: A Journal of Poetry (ISSN 1941-4137) was published online twice a year (June and December) from 2008 until 2014 by Glass Poetry Press. In 2016, it published a single poem each week (and occasionally published double features). Beginning in 2017, the journal published monthly issues of five to ten poems. Interviews and reviews were also published on a rolling schedule. The journal was edited by Anthony Frame, Preeti Vangani, Lauren Saxon, Khalisa Rae, and Akhim Alexis. Reviews were edited by Stephanie Kaylor. In 2024, the journal reopened, publishing a single poem each Wednesday.
Past contributors have included Rane Arroyo, Saeed Jones, Lisa Fay Coutley, Marcus Jackson, Luther Hughes, George Abraham, Maggie Smith, Hanif Abdurraqib, Jee Leong Koh, Jose Angel Araguz, Xochitl-Julisa Bermejo, E.J Koh, Jason Koo, Leah Umasky, Jess Rizkallah, Gaia Rajan, among many many others.
