Pride
I watched the crowd
of rainbow flags,
the music, the community,
and the love.
You cannot take our Pride.
Our heads will always be held higher
than the weapons that you dare
to aim in our direction.
Sticks and stones
will break our bones
But bullets cannot silence us.
