Different Rules
Jamiel got stopped for speeding
Cops likely smelled it
White guns drawn
Get out of the damn car
They found it under the seat
Five years in minimum
No money for an attorney
Public defender not there
Too many black guys here
Most for first offense
I know white guys
smoke and deal it too
Poets Resist is published by Glass Poetry Press.
