Hear Them Laugh Forever
You will always be huddled
in second class on this train,
pull close to the others. Do not
fix your hair, cross your legs
slouch in the chair. Refuse
the offer for first class.
Understand, don't you,
If you climb those stairs
you're asking for it.
It's a boy's game, to push
to maul, to tear. ha-ha
You made it to the top.
Move down the stairs
like a cat. Do not fix
your hair. Laughter
will chase you out
the door, be with you
forever. Say after me,
"It's only a game,
boys playing rough."
"Let them always be
on top."
